I’m Helen Shin, founder of SparkMagic. I build products at the intersection of data, design, and self-inquiry so people can make clearer decisions with tools that are both precise and human.

Story of SparkMagic

SparkMagic started with a simple question: what would Human Design look like if it worked like modern software? Most tools in this space are static snapshots. Real life is not static.

After discovering Human Design in 2017, I found the frameworks powerful but the product experience outdated. SparkMagic was built to close that gap: rigorous data systems underneath, clear interfaces on top, and insights that can actually be used in the moment.

Our philosophy is straightforward: your data should serve you. We prioritize privacy, personal ownership, and utility over noise. In a world of generic content, SparkMagic is built for specificity, context, and meaningful action.

My Background

Over the last decade, I’ve led product and technology initiatives across startups, Fortune 500 teams, and public sector organizations. My work spans product strategy, modernization programs, and user experience design in retail, healthcare, education, and finance. I've been fortunate to work with some of the most innovative companies in the world, including Google, Amazon, and Apple.
